A lawyer by profession Ananth Rayappa has invested Rs.1.25 crores on his cherished project ‘Jagruthi’ Kannada cinema. The lawyer profession and land he had come to his help. His friends have helped him a lot that include his professional fraternity.


A film with concern ‘Jagruthi’ is all about prevalent corruption and awareness of voting to elect right candidate. On these two aspects Ananth Rayappa has worked with maximum of theatre artists and there is not even one known face. He has converted his short story to cinema.


Our film is like ‘Saaru’ prepared at home but not ‘Pizza’. We have included all relevant information to bring awareness says confident. After knowing the result of this film Ananth Rayappa would like to take up ‘Moudya’ as his second film.


In the guest role Smt Motamma, Prof Seethamma, Dr L Hanumanthaiah, DS Veerayya, Gudihalli Nagaraj, Dr Jayasri, LN Mukundaraj, Purushottam Das have appeared.


Mandya Jayaram, Stamp Venkatesh, Ananth Rayappa, Ramarao, Hanumantharaju, Shivakumar, Nagaraj Rao and others are in the cast.


Sameer Kulkarni has composed music for four songs, Dattatreya Guptha, Achchu Suresh, V K Shiva Putra have worked behind camera.
